What is Woo Way?

Woo Way is a story about interconnectivity. It is a book that travels through time, across the cosmos, and into the mind and the mystic. It weaves together modern science and ancient wisdom in an investigation of the fundamental questions: where do we come from, who are we, and why are we here? It is a journery from prehistory to the present moment that follows the patterns and flow of nature along the way. It asks the simple, perhaps unanswerable question: “Woo?”

What is Woo Way About?

Woo Way is a book that uncovers the connections, relationships, and interdependence between all things. It offers insight into meditation, self-awareness, and the human experience. It looks at each of us, along with all of the thoughts, habits, and feelings we cultivate and carry, as integral aspects of the natural world.

In an investigation of the common ground shared by the insights of modern science and ancient wisdom, it sheds light on the inherent patternicity of nature and human psychology, turning our attention to the ways in which we can better our personal, interpersonal, mental, and professional lives through self-mastery and deep understanding.

Woo Way builds upon the work of other authors, thinkers, and philosophers, both classical and contemporary, to present a theory of mind and life that calls upon readers to hone their thoughts, behavior, and character by delving into our own deepest truths and learning to align our will and way with the patterns and flow of the natural world.

Forest Neff

Author of Woo Way

Forest Neff is a lifelong learner and a modern mystic. With an ever-inquiring mind, he spends his days inspired by the living world in the pursuit of connection, insight, and tranquility. He is a student of nature, science, art, culture, and people.

Born and raised in Northern California, a love of water and the wonder of the natural world has led him to travel throughout North America, exploring mountains, glaciers, meadows, creeks, waterfalls, rivers, valleys, canyons, lakes, deserts, hot springs, islands, seacliffs, and beaches along the way.

Forest works in a variety of industries, ranging from art, design, and web development to construction, event production, and project management. He holds an AS in Psychology from Sierra College and consistently engages in a thorough investigation of existing thought and literature regarding the human experience, our minds, and the natural environments we come from, cultivate, steward, and share.

As a dreamer, visionary, and pragmatist, his life and his work are focused on the practical means by which we can achieve peace of mind and world peace through inner and interpersonal compassion, connection, acceptance, and growth. Accordingly, and like many before him, he encourages us to align ourselves and our will and intention with the patterns and flow of nature.
